We use it in Jennifer's hair every time we wash it.  I have no idea if it has any silicones in it or not, but it leaves her hair incredibly easy to comb so damage from tangles is virtually eliminated when her hair is wet.  She has used it for many years and loves the stuff.  They have several different formulas now.  We get the one for dry hair just for the extra moisturizing.  It comes in a bottle, but we pour it into a spray bottle that we got at Walmart for easier application to long hair.

i've never had good luck with this.  it doesn't seem to do anything to my hair whatsoever.  it's currently sitting under my bathroom sink collecting dust.

Hey Donna,

If your hair likes -cones, go ahead and try it.  If not, then stay away from it.  My hair does not like -cones.  But YMMV (your mileage may vary).

I am trying a new leave in that is cone-less, because so many have recommended it on this board. It is Giovanni Direct Leave In and I really like it so far. The ingredients are mostly herbs, essential oils and other natural ingredients. For some reason, my hair never liked Infusium. Funny how everyone's hair is so different! The Giovanni leave in is very light, my hair feels smooth and soft, and my waves are shiner and less damaged looking. I think while I'm growing my hair long it will be a good way to protect it so I don't need to trim for awhile. Hope that helps!

I've only ever used the Infusium 23 spray leave-in, which is nice but causes my hair to behave oddly if I spray too much on.  My stylist friend tells me that all the Infusium products are great though, and she's quite passionate about them.  See if your local salon/beauty supply store has any sample packages and try it for yourself.   Best of luck!
