brush ur sides forward. The problem with your hair is your barber is probably dumb and cutting your hair aginast the grain and is why your waves are dissappearing.
Ask for ah dark ceasar going with the grain next time. Put pink lotion on ur hair and den add the pomade.. all the pink lotion does is add moisture to your hair.

to get em on da side u gotta b consistent wit ya brush game brush dem sh!ts homie das all n e one gon tell u and tell ya barber stop choppin ya waves out lol tell him stay wit da grain and i recommend brushin onna slight downward angle das gon bring ya joints in and stay dedicated homie they will come fo sho as much as u put in is gon b wut u gon get out.
Yo im 15 and i been rockin waves for 2 years, but everytime i get a new cut my waves dissapear. I tell the barber to give me a dark ceaser. I started off with murrays but i saw no waves so i switched to red dax (wave & groom)...then i saw that waves was coming.then i found a pomade witch wasnt as thick thats called black magic. I found a pink lotion called lusters in the bathroom, its my mom'z do yall think i should use it?
By the way, how am i suppose to get them at the side?
