Hair news from the Golden Globes:

Someone reported a month or so here that Alanis Morrisette had gotten blonder. Now she's really blonde. My verdict: long hair of any color is better than short hair of any color on Alanis. That is, until I saw this photo:

I love Natalie's look. Sadly, that's about all that leaped out at me tonight. She should really consider keeping it that short, though.

 I love Natalie Portman!!!

 Ever since I saw her in the movie "Closer", and I think she's a smart Harvard grad...

 You're right, the growing out hair(from shaved head for her new movie) I think she has a cute pixie look now. She has a beautiful face and long neck, I wish I could pull off that style, Oh well, Just goes to show those stuck on themselves with long tresses, should consider that beauty is simple, just like Natalie portman!

The whole Alanis blonde this is just odd.  The pics of her with blonde hair look like when they paste a face over some glamorous celeb!

Don't get me wrong, I like the way she looks now, but it is so different to image over the past 10 years, very not glam.

Oh well, I'm so glad I'm not a celebrity... TOO much pressure!!!!

   I think I'd want to be a singer like Kelly Clarkson. If I was an actress I'd want to be smart and beautiful, Natalie Portman.

 Otherwise, I prefer myself, clandestine(secretive, or private).

 I love my annonimity, unless I can trust someone.

 I feel ok about sharing hair stuff here, and a bit about myself as well. Ofcourse I'm not a high profile celeb! Thank GOD!!!!!!

Something about the blonde on alanis doesnt look right.The hair itself looks nice.But her face looks like it was pasted on someone else like ssjockey said.Thats exactly what I thought.It just doesnt go.I just hope she likes it.Cause its just not working for her.

No way. The only live shot I saw of Cynthia Nixon was one of the hair highlights of the night for me. She looked fantastic -- better live than any still photos I've seen. Why did you find her disturbing?

Getting thumbs down were: Alanis, Jenny McCarthy, Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Cynthia Nixon, Maria Bello, Mariah Carey

I thought they overrated Charlize's hair. I'm glad Mariah was on their "worst" list. Penelope looked tasty as usual. Marcia Cross may have had the best hair of the night. I totally disagree with the assessment on Jenny. What do you think?
