As I'm quite new to the industry I wondered if/when any hair shows might be taking place in the UK?

I know there is one somewhere/sometime (that helps) but I don't know when or where!

So if anyone can answer my whens and wheres I'd be really grateful,

The professional beauty show has three shows this year in London and Manchester.  They have quite a few exhibitors there on hair.  The only hair show I can find is one in Ireland.  You can check it out on www.professionalbeauty.co.uk.  The only other thing I can advise is to check your nearest city to see whats happening.

there is one comming up in jan in usa- i will be there! its in so cal

can just anybody go to these trade shows or do u have to be in the profession??

and if the general public can go, what city is the upcoming one in so cal? i wouldn`t mind checking it out

hi kalena- you do have to be a professional to get in, sometimes they ask to see your cosmotology lisc. there are two upcomming ones- last weekend in jan is a show from Matrix then the big Long Beach show- that one is great, i will be there on monday. my whole salon is going to go (all 25 of us) hoping to shop, take classes and see what the latest is out there, i am mainly going to take classes and see the extension end. after that,the next show i will be at, will be in NYC-MAY 2  international hair show. ME and my partners will be going there and staying for a week, i will hook up with Cybermane and do some clients!!

hair shows are awesome, great classes and awesome prices on everything!

On the professional beauty you just sign up on the website and a couple of days later they send you a badge which you need to get entry.  If you dont sign up before I think they charge �10 on the door.  Anybody can sign up for a badge.
