For 2 weeks now I've been tryna get waves. Since I'm black and italian,
my hair is REALLY straight(but is curly when its long) and I dont have
one wave to my name. I brush with a soft brush constantly and use a
wave cap with a rag on top when I sleep(after I put on Murray's.) I've
read a lot of posts and learned a lot(like I was brushing wrong.) Does
anyone have advice for my situation?

how can you brush wrong?
I brushed the sides down instead of toward the line.
I'll start using s-curl. Thx for the advice. Should I use a soft brush instead of a hard one(which is what I have)?
