Hi all...I had a client come in today for permanent make-up (eyebrows and eyeliner)...we got into my procedure room and she shyly asked me if I minded if she took off her wig. It was a synthetic wig that looked "ok", but is all she can afford.
Long-story-short...she suddenly lost her hair 4 months ago ( she is 35 and has alopecia). She had no idea that I did hair extensions, not that that would help her at all.
Here's my question...I want to try to make her a beautiful human hair wig and surprise her with it when she comes in for her touch-up appointments in about a month. Is this possible? Can you help me learn how or direct me to where I can figure it out?
Check out www.wigbank.com it is a small non profit making wig bank in Edinburgh UK, i know it is along way away but the wigs go for around £10 - £15 some human, some synthetic.
I have 3 different companies who make wigs for me according to the specifications of the template of the client's head that I send them. They only do business with licensed professionals though.
