Hi there, L'anza stait lines thermal defence is pretty good . The l'anza range is a good one in general. Available only at salons, I would go to their website and phone to ask for local salons in your area.

I would use a combination of conditioners - a lighter but high moisture one for everyday and then an intensive deep conditioning product (like a mask or a leave-in) once a week.

Personally I like the Aussie range, which you can buy in the UK, South Africa and some of continental Europe, I'm not sure about elsewhere.  I use the Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner regularly, plus the 3 Minute Miracle deep conditioner every now and then.  They're really cheap, but I find them effective.

There is also a very good, rich, Aveda leave-in conditioner (it smells like ginger, I'm afraid I can't remember the name, but an Aveda salon or retailer would surely know it).

I also recommend that you use a good moisturising shampoo and heat protecting products before you straighten.

Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.

what would be the best conditioner for someone who uses a flat iron everyday? price is no object and it needs to be availible in hair salons.

thanks :D
