I ordered some of the silicon-lined microrings, black keratin sticks, and some bulk WaWa, got everything by yesterday (Monday), bought some pliers at Wal-greens, and installed this morning. I did the sides and top but I had to have my brother`s girlfriend do the back `cause I couldn`t do it to save my life. It took us a total of 3.5 - 4 hours to finish it. Afterwards, we went to Sally`s to pick up something to smooth out the rest of my hair. I bought a product called Ceramic Silk-- it works reeeeally good at taming my natural asian afro puff . here`s the pics:
Yes, I`m obsessed with black hair, haha-- I don`t know what else would look good on me -_-... I`m still debating if I should trim some of the length, but I do need to have it styled somehow. Three of them came out already, but I`m pretty sure that`s due to the fact that maybe they weren`t clamped shut tight enough.
amanda: yeah, when i was originally planning it out, i was going to put in some auburn (again) but i just never did. i`ll probably put a few in afterall.... hmmm, sounds like a plan for tonight .
It looks really pretty! black is perfect on you. I wish I could pull it off, but my
skin is too pale...
Did you pre-tip the hair first or just use bulk with the rings? When I used the
rings with bulk hair it had all fallen out within a few days, I'll be interested to
hear how yours works! :)
I LOVE that red and the way it falls when it's cut lke that! Do
you have a trick to the way you place the strands to make sure they
will look right when you cut them?
