Okay, don't think I'm crazy or anything, but I was washing my daughter's hair and thought...I wonder if I could use baby shampoo for a mild cleansing option for my hair...What do you guys think?

There's no reason why you couldn't.  Back in the day when I tried to use it, it dried my hair out though.  I didn't like how it felt but I haven't used it in a long time.  All you could do is try it out and see.  You could always add some glycerin to it if it's too harsh and maybe that would help.

That's a good idea pokahontas, i could probably do a little oil too.  If I give it a try I'll let you know how it works out!

Ok, please do that.  Adding oils would be good to do.

I once tried the Johnson and Johnson Baby Shampoo and it dried my hair out as well. I read some where that as one ages the hair matures so that baby shampoo was not a good idea because it said it did not get the hair clean enough.

So, do you think it is better or worse than a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup?  That's kinda what I was thinking of using it for...not as a regular thing.
