This is just firther proof that BlackFar was right, we are over doing it. I believe that if we take all the good tips we get here and use them in moderation we could all be spinning much faster and much better.
Oh yeah I'm not using durags or wave caps for a prolonged period any longer. I have a hard enough time dealing with my stress acne, I don't need pomade bumps too.

i disagree sugar lump,i think it comes down to hair texture some people get waves easier and faster chess just have to work harder at his waves.That just the way the wave game is,i have a cousin that is mixed he was spinnin in 2 months im not.lol but im still in the game.

No such thing as good hair people! Everyones hair texture is different and it all depends on how well you take care of it. If being mixed garaunteed someone waves I should have been spinning as soon as I picked up a brush.

Yeah there's a kid around campus here like that too. I don't even think he notices the waves. The only thing is they are connected because he brushes his sides straight down so he has this long part separting his top from the sides and the back. It looks sorta like a softball. LOL!

Being mix is not a reason someone gets waves, there are people who are mixed with the stereotypical african american hair texture and there are those with loose curls. No one hair is better than the next. All hair is good as long as it is healthy. And if you don't know the history about some of these terms used to seperate blacks from other blacks then I can offer you a few books.
No one hating on you, no need to. Your hair don't mean ish to me.
