Nah don't ever think that! Just b/c your hair is straight you can still get waves! I was told that my hair was the same way and ive been following the advice from this board and i can already see the waves coming in. Just never give up and go for it. The only way you cant get waves, is if you never try

MY HAIR WAS STR8 WHEN I STARTED IT JUST TAKES US MORE TIME TO DEVELOP THE WAVE PATTERN THEN THE WAVES.

IT TOOK ME ALMOST 6 MONTHS TO BE SPINNIN LIKE I WANT.

SO MY ADVICE IS TO JUST HAVE PATIENCE THEY WILL COME.

BUT YOU HAVE TO GET THE BRUSHIN(WHAT HELPED MY PROCESS IS WHEN I GOT CARROT CREME)

how long u brush a day? i got carrot creme im jusing carrot creme and sportin waves

there's no set time. it's different for everyone. so i would set ur own brushing time schedule. on avg wavers brush 1hr-1hr/2. sometimes i brush a lil less or lil more. so choose hom much u want to brush and stick wit it.
