Waves for *Hispanic* people?

I just started with the waves thing I have been wondering exactually what I should get and do..I have a du-rag, wave cap, pomenade, & the brush of course (Hard Bristle) Iam Cuban and Puerto Rican my hair isnt really curly until it gets a little long right now its actually pretty long but not long enough to get curly, prolly around a number 4 I would guess. I know there is spanish people who have waves but all hair textures arent the same. What would be the best method, and products I should use. And yes I know keep brushing...well whenever my picture hosting website gets up ill post pictures but its basicly no waves at all and its brushed all down...

number 1 spanish isnt a race..number 2..how can we tell without a picture

hey i dnt have the same prob but a lil similiar c im dominican and i have dat sorta nappy brown but curly hair at da ssame time wen it grows but i dunno if i need the activator bc im ODin brushin and usein the spartan pomade and usin the medium brush. but i dunno im gettin lil bit of waves on da side but not on the top. so if i use a activator which 1 should i use ??? revlon??

NO SERIUOS CAUSE ALL THAT SPARTAN POMADE WILL DO IS STINK UP MAKE YA WAVES LOOK TERRRIBLE AND GIVE U MAD FLAKES TRUST ME ASK ANY WAVER HERE THEY WILL TELL U TO DROP THE SPARTAN POMADE BUT COUNTIUE TO BRUSH WAT ACTIVATOR DOES IS JUST KEEP YA HAIR SORT OF LIKE WET SO I WOULD GO WITH THE H2O METH INSTEAD OF USING ACTIVATOR WHICH IS SIMILAR OR YOU CAN USE NATURAL PRODUCTS LIKE CARROT CREAM OR SLICKFIX, ECT SOMETHING THAT HAS EITHER GEL, OR CREAM AND HAS NO RELATIONS TO PMADE WAT SO EVA IS CALLED A NATURAL PRODUCT FOR EXAMPLE SJAYS WAVES ARE USED AND TOUCHED HE SAYS ONLY BY NATURAL PRODUCTS NOTHING BUT DAT AND A BRUSH THATS ALL U NEED AND NEVA GIVE UP NEVA SURRENDER
