today i wanted to take an inch off the bottom of my hair, so i asked my mom to do it (she has some hair cutting experience) but she took off way too much and i went from looking like this:
to looking like this:
so yeah, i don't like it. and i was wondering if you think my hair would look good in this style:

I think I would be too angry with your mum right now to even see my computer screen through the red mist of rage! Did she explain to you why she cut off so much?!
Personally I think your hair looks really good long (like in the first photos) so you could grow it out again...
Good luck with whatever you do; I'm sure it will look great.

thanks for all the comforting comments :) the reason why she cut it so short was because it was like. cut,---> crooked--->cut---->unproportional with bangs---->cut ect. she asked me about every step of the way, exept i just hate the end result :( so im not sure, it will take a long time to grow it out again (i had a short hairestyle and it took 1.5 years to get it that long before) i'm not sure. i think ill just go with the hairstyle in the pics as it would require a lot less work. and my hair would stay out of my eyes without a benie/headband. but i don't know, if a barber does a bad job then it will take forever to grow it out again. i dunno. i have mixed thoughts. feedback would be greatly appriciated. thank you P.S. i have soft thin hair, do you think that hairstyle would still work? would it work without gel or hairspray?

I think the haircut in the photos would work on all hair types; it looks like the model has fairly fine, slightly wavy hair. I imagine it would probably need a little hair gel run through it with fingers, but no other styling or special products.

Lemon juice will also dry out your hair A LOT, don't do it! If you are going lighter, it is kindest to your hair to use a gentle organic bleach with added conditioning like Aveda's.
