u hold a hot rag over ur head 4 like 5 min and it softens ur hair then u put in pomade and brush

Thats an old school method.  Just like the above poster said, softens your hair much similar to H20 method.

and i think it make the pomade sink down in your hair like after you put it in.

i dont use a rag anymore cuz when i used it, it made my hair hard durin school so i just dump that method.

u don't need to use a hot rag fam. just get an empty hair spray bottle and fill up wit H20. then spray it on ya hair followin da H20 method.

If you do the h20 method after you apply your products and your hair is longer than like grown out for 3-4 weeks it will just make your hair stick up if your a beginner and you are since you joined feb 14th the hot rag meth will do you more good than the h20 meth

Use the hot rag after you add the pomade to make your hair soft and melt the grease use the hot rag befor to mkae hair soft and make the pomade easier to apply to scalp

Just spray h20 on your wave cap or du-rag to make hair lay down
dont brush with water untill you are sure your hair is traned

haha. the hot rag thing isnt really a method. its the instructions from cans of pomade. the hot rag is to melt the pomade in ur hair after youve put it in.

they used to melt pomade on the stove back in the day. thas y they put it in a tin can. you dont really need a hot towel tho. many ppl jes rub the pomade in their hands enough so that it gets soft from the friction.
