Hey guys, I've been on the board for a few months now, and I have been loving all the tips and have really improved my hair care routine!  The only thing is, I was looking at my hair today and my ends are looking really uneven.  I don't know if it is new breakage or old, and I wonder if when I get my relaxer touchup I shpuld get my ends evened up.  What would you guys do in my situation?

I would get them trimed because if they aren't [trimmed] they aren't healthy. And plus, if your hair is uneven, it probably won't look right

b4 u trim,, if ur reluctant then examine those ends in
good light,, and see ,, do they look damaged?? are
they split or whitish looking or thinner than the top,, if
so,, then u should trim,, if not then its not a must,,
esp if u wanna maintain length

I totally agree. Don't trim unless there is damage, or you just WANT to have those ends even. It's not necessary if there is no damage.

I agree w/cookie.  Unless you want your hair to be evened up for styling purposes I wouldn't trim unless the ends are damaged.  It is important to get regular trims though.  My hair grows in unevenly so every now and then I like to even it up because it bothers me to look at.

Pokahontas-

I saw on your "fotki" that you mentioned a maxiglide. What exactly is a maxiglide?

It's a ceramic flat iron.
