How long does it take to get thick?

I have some in my fridge and it still has a soupy consistency after I put in there nearly 4 hours ago!! Isnt it suppose to get somewhat thick after a period of time??? Also what kinda results did you have after you've used it, and what do use usually mix it with?

TIA~

You have to wait at least overnight in order for it to thicken up.

I mix mine with shea butter and it only takes a few hours in the fridge to get hard, since both are hardening up.  However if I take it out to use it and leave it out I get the soupy consistency again.  I live in a hot climate so I think that's probably why.

Oops I just realised you were talking about coconut milk and not the oil.

I use mine right out of the can and sometimes mix it w/ honey.  I just pour it over my head and work it through like a shampoo.  There are quite a few different cultures that shampoo w/ coconut milk.  The milk has natural oils in it and it has growth properties.  It makes my hair really soft with a nice shine to it.  I also do a final rinse with it after I rinse my conditioner out, this way some of the natural oils from the milk stay in my hair.

Can you use coconut milk on relaxed hair or will it leave a white film? I have alot ofo coconut milk, but we only use it to cook peas! I never thought of using it on my hair. What are the benefits to the hair?

Yeah, you can use it on any type of hair since its a natural ingredient. You just have to rinse it out throughly.

The benefits of using coconut milk on your hair is that it will give it extra moisture, shine and incredible softness.

Thats what I've experienced when I used it earlier this month, its definitely a keeper in my regimen.
