Softsheen's Carefree curl in the yellow spray bottle is awsome for moisture.  I really love it.  It makes your hair so soft and moisturized but not greasy.  You can buy it at Wal-Mart.  Your  hair will not feel rough after you use this.

Con-washes are great when the hair is feeling rough... but if you don't want to wet the hair a good leave-in like NTM silk will put moisture back in your hair.

Hey, I have learned too that mineral oil & petroleum can clog follicles. I have started using jojoba oil, which cleans scalp and all buildup and is not oily or greasy, it absorbs well. Extra Virgin Olive Oil also works well for me. I just don't use as much because it can be a little heavier for my hair type. I dap a lil bit of jojoba oil on my hair and scalp at night and wrap it, then in the morning apply more then go. I wouldn't think products with mineral oil would hurt, as long as you keep your scalp clean as much as you can to prevent buildup.

Switch to ORS Olive or Carot oil.  That helps me out and no mineral oil!

Ok this is just MY opinion...but there is nothing wrong with mineral oil products being on the actual hair shaft because the hair is dead. However, there is something wrong with placing it on the SCALP which can cause clogging of the pores.

Also, what exactly is smooth milk from garnier...is it a gel if it's not a moisturizer?

Ok I looked it up...it may be the micro- waxes in it that is making your hair feel hard/not smooth. Have you tried making a leave-in with your regular conditioner in it?

My hair feels well how can i put it um not smooth i mean i didnt moisturize it for like thre days (because like i said walmart decided to pull mango butter off the shelves and i wasnt going to use anything with petrolum and/or mineral oil in it so i guess im paying the price but i did use smoothing milk from garnier but i just didnt use a "moisturizer" so the question is what should i do to maximize the moisture in my hair now that im using the optimum hair and scalp quencher or yeah should i apply it directly to my scalp?
