early January I colored my hair with permanent color for the first time, it
turned out read bad I had to cover it the very next day with something
else. A month after I colored with semi and then a month after with
another permanent. My hair has been shedding more than usual. Now I
need to color again, roots showing, what do I do, color using semi or
permanent. I want to go with what would cause less shedding. However, If
I go with semi I will need another application in 4 weeks, with permanant
I can wait another 2 months

when you color your hair just match the color and do your regrowth only. Once you color your hair you should never put color over color unless you are redoing the midshaft to ends just to freshen up the color using a semi-permanent color of the same level and tone for your current haircolor. A normal person shed 80-100 hairs per day it's natural. If you hair is sufferring breakage get yourself a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and a weekly deep conditioning treatment. I'd recommend only using professional products....yes they cost more but they work better. I guess it depends on what your hair is worth to you. Don't use Pantene, Thermasilk, Pert, Suave and so forth....those shampoos are very harsh and leave a waxy buildup on your hair that will just ruin and dry out your hair more creating more problems.

You don't believe hair color casuses shedding, a lot of people around me say so, is it incorrect?
Haircoloring causes shedding? Absoultely 100% NO!
As a hairstylist I do know that daily shedding of 80-100 hairs per day by the average person is common. I do know that poor nutrition such as a lack of protein or a diet high in fats can lead to a shorter growth cycle of the hair strands and also weaker hair.

This is comforting to hear. However, I was losing more hair than usual
recently, now I am not sure whether it is because I started dying my hair
or because I changed my hair care products. Maybe I am using too much.
Another question since you are an expert. I have used Recital Les Bruns
before which gave me coppery roots, and had to cover as mentioned
before.
Last thing I put in my hair after the Garnier Nutrisse in 50 Light Brown is
some higlights using Multi Lights kit by Garnier, I only put it on a few
strands in the middle section of my hair, to lighten it a bit.
Can I after all this use Feria Flash Golden Brown 13? Or I will end up with
weird results
If not when can I use it, if ever now.
