(moved form wrong forum, Hopefully this is the right one, Im still lost here :S)

I've searched the boards a few minuts here and a few miutes there.. But I havent seen anything on how long you can wear bonded tracks, before they start slipping, or how often you can shampoo.. Maybe I missed it somewhere.. I dont really have ubers of time to search..

Anyone who can help it would be apreciated. Im going on the second week with these ones, they feel loose (I only shampoo every other day) But the girl who put them in says they are fine

Any tips ?

Hi,

The length that bonded tracks stay in the hair really depends on the bonding glue.  Some glue only lasts a week or two before the wefts will slip out.

I use www.chrissyv.com bonding glue for my clients and they  can easily wear them for 8 weeks without problem.

I know also that many people here have great luck with Liquid Gold glue too.

I think that is what I have "Liquid gold"

They said it works well to and even tho they arent really tight anymore. They still seem really attached to the hair stil YAY :D

 

They have been up almost 2 weeks. If I keep up the shapooing every other day. Will they hold? Or should I take them down and reistall?

 

I have a special occasion comming and want to be sure they are not gona fall out while hes here ;)

Don't worry if they feel a little loose.  That is just the glue releasing it's self from your scalp, NOT your hair.  I have been able to wear Liquid Gold bonded tracks for at least 6 weeks.  I did have to to some small minor touch ups on the end of some of the rows and in the middle of my top row( I don't think I put enough glue there). 

If you are on  week 2, you should be just fine.  If you feel the ends comming up, just re-glue them down.  YOu can get the LG glue on just about anybody's website, but I had the best shipping from www.haircandy.com.  She is fast, I would recommend only buying the small bottle as it tends to get "hard" fast, keep the lid on it when you are using it!!
