Oh, those are thinning shears, don't use those.  They are used to thin out the hair.  Yea, some people actually pay to have that done.

I wouldn't it may cause more splits because of the grid. Is it made for hair or you just happen to find those scissors at home?

.. I just found a damn split end in my bangs for the first time, and yeah I'm pretty pissed!  My dad has this pair of scissors that have individual grids on one blade, while the other is straight.  Should I use this?  It looks pretty scrary, and nothing like at the salon.
