I'm sure this has been discussed to no end, but I remember seeing Sherrie's install and reading that she doubled and even tripled the wefts in parts.

This is my first time wearing wefts, and clearly I'm going to need to double and triple them up to get the thickness I want for my whole head. But I'm worried that if I attach the wefts to each other with liquid gold, the glue will look too yellow in my hair, which is basically platinum.

So can I use a clear glue to double them up? Is any old latex okay or should I use something else?

I tripled all of my wefts, but I zig-zag stitched them on the sewing machine.  I kind of staggered them, so they wouldn't be one on top of another, and they come out flatter that way.

I still don't understand about the pro tac and the wefts..... do u put several on one and how is the layout on the head for the pro tac, do you do the back separate and cut them in strips then put strips on each side? And can you do that with the LG or do I have to do the wef?t in U shapes on my head? All suggestions appreciated

i used LG to double my wefts, the LG i just brushed along the weft and placed the second weft right on top of that, so no LG is visible when i protac'd it to my head, and my hair is blonde and thin, very see-through-ish and the wefts are very invisible......i think next time around i am going to sew triple wefts though.....someone (sorry cant remember who!) had a great idea of color coding the thread that she sewed the wefts with so when she re-uses the hair she will know where to re-place them on her head........so i plan to copy that !
