The maxiglde has been on my wish list since Dec of last year. I have done a lot of research and there are a lot of mixed reviews.  the good out weight the bad by far. I finally gave in a placed a order thru the Maximus web site. I was only 109.99 and that came with The maxiglde the mini glide, the beyond straight heat protectan kit, the traveling case, the velco like rollers , the instruction cd, the interchanges able plates and something else. Shipping was like 14.95 so total I paid about 135.00. This was the best deal because do other site had all of this. I can until it comes. I plan on using it once I take out my twist. I guess if it is not for me I can always return it.

I love my maxiglide!  I rave about this thing all the time.  It's an awsome iron and makes straightening so fast and easy.  My hair is natural and I can get it relaxer straight with this.  I have pics in my fotki if you want to see results, you can also see my natural hair.  Maxi is the truth!

As for the steam, sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't.  For some reason I get better results when I don't.

Girl. I love that thing. There is no way I could straighten my hair without my mama without that thing. I usually brushout my hair first so it's already semi straight. I give it two thumbs up!

Hair Type: 4a/3c Natural
Hair Length: Mid Back (growing out Layers)
Hair Goal: Long Layered Waist length/ Super Healthy!
