I posted a question a few months ago, and never got a response.
However, the last time I went to the salon, I noticed my stylist uses some of the products. One was in the "pot" style container, but I forget exactly what it was. It was some kind of either conditioner or moisturizer, and I know she put it on my hair before relaxing to protect my hair so that the relaxer wouldn't bother the previously relaxed hair, and also to condition the ends before she had to wash it.
The other was an oil that had flowers in the bottom of the bottle. She said that they make good products.
Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!

I use Lisa's Hair Elixir for my ends. I like it. I also
tried the Margarite's Magic and that's ok. But only use a small
amount or your hair will feel greasy.
CD is cool, and the products are natural (dont have to worry about
petroletum or mineral oil) but I think it is a bit on the expensive
side. I spent almost $40 on those two items.

The hair products are just ok. My mother got happy and ordered a bunch of products and she wasn't really thrilled with any of them and like the other ladies said, they are expensive. I do like their bath/body products and I try to support them with a small purchase here and there. I'm not sure if they sell samples, that would be a great way to try the products w/out shelling out cash.
If you have time to whine and complain about it, you have time to do something about it!

what are some of the ingredients? I'm sure we can do a comparison, and find a product that is less expensive yet effective. I try to support black business, but black business gotta support us with their prices...don't they know it's a recession!
