The only way I can think of for you to get that look is to get a tight straw set curl.

I used to wear my natural hair like that also (washed every day and put in gel), even in the winter. If your hair is thick enough, the cold won't even touch your head. But for me, cold weather and wet skin/hair never equaled getting sick, so it wasn't an issue for me. Of course I live in the south, so the winters may be different if you live in Illinois or Montana or something. If you live up north, or get sick if you or your hair is wet in the winter, I wouldn't recommend doing your hair like that. If you live in the south, it usually doesn't get cold enough to warrant not leaving the house with wet hair.

Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!

I cut my shoulder length hair about 2 years ago and have gradually gone shorter and shorter.  Right now, my hair is cut similar to Halle Berry's when her hair was at its shortest.  In fact, mine is shorter, and relaxed.  Last summer I dyed my hair honey blonde and went natural.  With the help of Wet by Sebastain and lots of gel, I was able to achieve the curly look.  I loved it however it took a lot of maintenance.  Unfortunately, I was not blessed with naturally curly hair.  Well the winter time came and I could not afford to leave my house with my hair dripping wet because of the risk of getting sick.  I decided to relax it again and really loved the change.  Well, summer is almost here again and I've gone back to the bright hair.  I would love to do the curly look again but my question is, is there any products out there that will make straight, relaxed hair curly?  I am going away to Jamaica next month and would love to rock this look.  Any advise??

By the way, I am a newcomer and I apologize for the long message.
