I want to know about the average everday african american woman that has a relaxer in that washes their hair during the week... how many times do they wash and condition and why?

When I had a relaxer, I use to wash and condition once a week, and deep condition once or twice a month.  That is before I found LHCF...

I have relaxed hair and I shampoo and deep condition every Friday.  And Conditioner wash on Tuesdays.  I do this for the added Moisture and it helps me control my newgrowth.  I am 4 months post tryin to make it to July.
Goal:Waistlength Natural Hair!

I wash twice a week. If I don't, my hair dries out and I get split ends. Washing (but not overwashing) makes my hair thrive.

My hair is also better if I change around shampoos. I have 3 bottles.
Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!

I wash every week. The reason... if I wait any longer my scalp starts to itch because it is dirty.
