No, kidding Malibu! Whether or not you ever use the hair, for how much they cost you, I would keep the hair on principle alone! I don't think that it's too much to ask that she be careful with YOUR hair when she takes it out. YOU paid a pretty penny for it and she is being paid by YOU to remove them. This is a business transaction not a favor. You want a service done in a particular way, if she cannot accomodate you, get someone else to remove the hair!

Great Length's are removed using the same method as fusion. There is no reason why she can't keep the majority of the bond in tack when sliding the extensions out. And from that point, you can just cut the tip off, however, I would suggest NOT doing that until you are ready to re-install. There are soooooooo many wonderful people on this site that are very willing to help you with any questions and or training you might have or need. We're all here for ya!

I agree I love this board, I am new to the board and I am trying to find out everything possible about fusion, microlinks, shrinkies an all of the above. I have been a hairstylist for 20years and now I would like to offer extensions to them instead of sending them to other stylist. I can not braid , and choose not to learn , but I would love to learn the other methods of hair extensions. Any advice from experience people would be great. I would like to be certified in everything that I offer to my clients. I specialize in healthy hair and that is what I am known for.( So I would like to keep that reputation) Help anyone, everyone, where and how do I get started.
