First, i always established a friendship with the stylist before talking about a perm. Once she knew I was interested in an alternative, she was always more than helpful. The main thing is you have to be you. If hair is important, and you want it, it is only hair. It will grow out, or you can cut it and it will grow.
Hi, Im a teenage guy and Im thinking about getting a reverse perm to straighten my curly hair. Im not gay, so I am very apprehensive about going to a salon to get a perm. Did this ever bother you and if it did how did you deal with it?

i am an older guy (53), and have had perms for years. Colored too. I would love to have a forum on mens perms with both men and women. I enjoy the entire esperience, and especially enjoy the after effects of body and curls./
