Aight fellas, im goin 2 get my hair cut afta 4 wks 2morro, i wish i could last longer but my hair too thick already. but i was just wonderin what yall do 2 prepare ya hair for a cut...
 
 
Me personally, the night before, i dont brush and dont wear a du rag. i make sure i wash and condition it REALLY good 2 get all products out b/c having pomades in makes your hair stick together and let u get an uneven cut. then i comb it very well. I think this even enhances the depth of waves.  then when i wake up in the morning, i just continue to comb and use the hot towel method 1 more time. then when im at the shop, comb until its my time to get it cut and thats it!
 
but what yall do?

i dont do that much to get ready for a cut all i do is 3 days b4 i get a cut i stop using pomades since its hard to wash out and i use the h2o meth the the rest of the time. kinda simple really. oh i dont durag the nite b4.

what i do before a cut is wash my hair, brush it dry and put a durag on and then right before i go to the barbershop i brush it for about 20 minutes

I Wash my hair the night before only put in a small amount of olive cream, brush, durag, get up in the morning comb my hair backwards and cut it.

wash hair...comb it thouroughly, brush wit a lil moisturizer and good to go.

i get dry cuts i jus wash my hair and dont put nothin in and i dry brush throughout the day until i get my hair cut

yea, but brushin pack ya hair. try combin thru it! hair will be cut really evenly and waves look much deeper!

i wash my hair the night b4 don't add products.  wear durag overnight brush in the morning, my barber combs it b4 he cuts it.
