Ok, so a friend of mine is going to cosmo. school and she helped me fix my hair. the top layer of my hair in the back was cut way short, so it doesnt seem to blend in very well and she didnt want to put the extensions up to high or it would be noticeable. what do you guys think? thank you.

So you cant really see that short top layer back there? i guess i'm just paranoid about the extensions peekin' out underneath. LOL this was my very first time with extensions

its barely visable, some VERY light layering and you'd never know it. Your girl did an excellent job and the color match is great!

What would be the best way to go about that. I have some scissors, but Im to scared it'd butcher it up like the way my hair was before i added extensions lol
i was supprised with the match too! the only thing is i have some bright red highlights underneath in the front, but thats no biggy.
thank you :)

you should have your girl that installed them do it...if she can install them she can def. do a little layering. I use a razor for layering. Some people use sissors to do a 'slide' cut or cut downwards at an angle, but I dont have an experience with that so I cant give you any advice on it.

What method did she use to install them? Ive always found that the higher you can go the better to help blend.

how high did she put the top track? With wefts you can install the top track pretty high, and then 'sandwich' it to make it almost undetectable. And that will help alot with blending issues

id maybe get her to put just a few more in and just a bit higher with some tiny extension strands chick, with your hair being thick i think it would hide the bonds. if youre using shri**ies get her to cut them in half and press them flat once they have been bonded into your hair xx

i love your hair color, and no if i were the average person walking around i would not notice your top shorter layer, it just looks like a bit of layering.....i didnt go to haircuttin school, but i just pick up a few teeny random pieces of the extension hair and snip them a little shorter (start small you can always go back and cut again!) and then it just looks like you have some all over layering......and this helps give it more body, especially when you curl it

Whether or not you decide to put extra pieces in, I think it looks great!
