Ladies:

I have been using Elasta EQ Mango Butter for a while now, mostly on my ends before rollersetting my hair. Since I have been lottering on this website I now know the 'no no's' for hair, being petroleum and mineral oil. I've also heard that lanolin was a 'no no'. Is that true? If so, that is the 5th ingredient for Mango Butter. What do you ladies think?

Hey!  Girl I use the butter too, and it does not hurt me ONE BIT.  So whatever works for you, hey, more power to ya.  But for some reason, I wouldn't put it on my scalp.

Thank you. I have been thinking about it all night
I use to put it on my scalp but it was so thick, something told me to give it a rest. Why wouldn't you put it on your scalp? Just curious, do you put anything on your scalp?

I have heard good reviews about the product and if its not broke don't fix it But if it does have lanolin in it I would avoid putting it on the scalp because lanolin, mineral oil, & petroleum clog pores...I use Parnevu t-tree oil (in applicator) & WGO oil on my scalp 1-2x a week

hmmm...on your scalp?? Did it flake up or anything like that?? The reason I ask is because usually creamy stuff dries up and gets flaky...

But anyway, I have been meaning to try this, but i never got around to it =/

Deexox: No flaking, but it felt heavy on my scalp. That is when I decided not to use it. I have really dry hair and scalp so I was hoping that it would give my hair so luster (if that is the right word), but of course it didn't. Wishful thinking. But it is a great product and does wonders for my ends

Blackhoney: Thanks for the advice. I won't be putting it on my scalp anymore!!! That is probably why the product specifies that it is for your ends to prevent breakage. Do you use both the Parnevu and WGO at the same time or alternate? I am presently using the WGO, how do you apply it? Just a few sections on the scalp or the whole thing?
