Well, Emo hair is a hot trend right now, so I'm thinking about getting my hair razored cuz I have thick hair (for that edgy look). Any suggestions as to what else I should do?

anyways, i'll help, because i've had in the past, and am growing it out again (fried my last length of hair by bad straightening!!)

You may want to consider this. Undercutting the sides, ESPECIALLY since you say you have thick hair.. When you comb your hair down the sides, it'll cover the undercut anyways (i got mine cut with a #2 underneath)..

Then comes the back. I've never perfected this one, but hopefully next time i go it'll turn out. Get it clipped off. Prolly a #4 would do. I'm gonna get my entire back down with that, up to the natural part where your hair either goes across the TOP of your head, of falls down off the BACK of it.. So it's a transition from short-->long right at that "seem line"...

BASICALLY, you have longer hair just on the top of your head; ie: no sides/back.
