Hi gals,

I have personally had almost every method of hair extensions that are out there, with the exception of the sew in wefts, until yesterday that is.  I have also used almost all methods on my clients.  I got smoewhat of an idea of how the sew in was done, but unless you have eyes in the back of your head it's kind of hard to see what's being done.  Can somebody please direct me to a sight that may have instructions on how to do this particular method????

I would greatly appreciate it!Wink

How do you like the sew-ins?  I'm getting it done Saturday and I'm excited.  I'm choosing this for summer since my hair is naturally curly and totally frizzy in the summer........and this will hide alot of my natural hair so I'll have less hair to do!!
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.

Thanks for the info girls!
Longhairadict, I like the sew in!  It's different, but I like it.  The only thing that takes some gettin used to is the fact that they could have been put in closer to my face.  They were put in horizontal and the sides only come to where my ears are, therefore, I'm gonna have to cut into my hair to get it to blend better. Other than that, it's all good!  Always like to try new things.  I'm going to the Hair and Nail Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center next weekend so I'm sure I will get to see and learn all kings of new things.  Thanks again ladies! Big smile

No.. This just happened to be posted on BHM recently.. and I don't know too many stylists who still use the horizontal braiding patterns except for single track installations.. The vertical braids tend to give a flatter final product than horizontal braids..

Thanks Diva ! I did not realize this. Mine is braided Horizontal with 4 1/2 tracks.  Maybe I should try this new method out and see how I like it.

yeah, mine are also in horizontal and I have 3 tracks in.  I will be glad when these things loosen up a bit cuz it's giving me "big time" headaches and it itches alot in between the tracks.Ouch

Vertical braids are effective when more than 90% of your hair is braided.. (which mine is) if you are just adding 1-5 tracks for volume and/or length, the horizontal braids are just fine..

I usually do both veritcal and horizontal cornrows for my sew-in weaves..it just depends on how I feel LOL. But yeah I sure do have a 'How to' on my fotki album. Thanx Diva for sharing the info. I hope it's helpful.
