QuoteReplyTopic: Help with the FRIZZ Posted: May 25 2006 at 1:18pm
Ok I live in an extremely humid area and in the past few weeks it has
gotten pretty hot and humid. As a result my hair is really frizzy and I
can't seem to control it. It doesn't help that I just got a haircut a
few weeks ago and it it's helping cause it's far too bulky now. I've
tried different products and nothing is helping. I just don't know what
to do anymore. I have naturally wavey hair btw.

I already have layers in my hair... a lot of them. She didn't thin it
out as much as I need. I realized a few days ago that I was
over-conditioning my hair. It's been much better since I stopped doing
that. I use gel already but no heat since it a) makes my hair really
big and I already have really thick hair as is and b) I'm deathly
afraid of causing more damage to it. I'm thinking of going back soon
and asking for a lot more layers and for it to be thinned out a lot
more.

I live by the ocean and have kinky hair, I have discovered Curlsrock hair styling cream it works great! I carry a small bottle with me every where just in case ! I apply it on damp hair and either air dry or diffuse. You can reapply at any time during the day too. Find it at any beauty supply store or try Sally's for a generic version.

Nothing has worked as well as this for my hair. This leaves it soft and frizz free
When hair is damp and tangle free put a little of your favorite oil and part hair to the side where its going to be while down. Then put two big cornrows which hold ALL of the hair. When hair is reasonably dry take out the cornrows and DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!!!!! I can't stress this enough. at the end of the day expect a tangle or two but with a littl fingercombing this goes Bye-Bye.
