bad static

hi, I always seem to get bad static on my extensions well  i think its static , there is always a load of hair bungling up like a birds nest on top of my hair at the back , it neva stays strait. I have boheym remi hair, but i had a weft of europian hair sewn in about 18 months ago and that used to do exactly  the same , does anyone else have this problem , is there anyway i can stop it ?

hi. it is defo remi, i saw the boxes before she started and they were unopened, it was from celebrity elite iv'e been on the website. well now when you say poofy thats more like it, it sort of puffs up in the middle not really knotted just a ball of staticy puff stuck in the middle of the hair , i tried some serum but that made it worse, i am to frightend to try more things in case it goes worse oh! well thanks for replying 

Yep, static is a pain.  I'm using the Bohyme also, and even though I love it if I don't use the purology shampoo conditioner and some smoothing stuff it does tangle a little bit......but not bad like yours.

You can also get the anti-static stuff in a spray can in the super market laundry aisle.  I know it sounds wierd, but my sister has been using it on her natural hair (her hair gets tons of static) for years and my last install got alot of static during the winter and I tried it and it was great.

If you are having probelms with it staying straight I would try some alcohol free product after you wash it, I use either the Paul Mitchell styling glaze (the kind with the green apple) or sebastian wet.  Both are not sticky or hard and work well with my installs but I don't like either of the generic versions.  The product will also help eliminate static.

For smoothing and keeping the hair soft with no tangles I swear by the generic paul mitchell gloss drops at Sally's (not the real thing, the generic is better actually).  I use a good bit after I wash and it keeps the hair super silky, shiny and doesn't feel greasy or anything.

Are you brushing your hair a good bit?  You can also spray that anti-static stuff in a brush and brush it or spray it directly on your hair.

I was having dryness and pufiness problems last week and I used sulfate free abba true shine shampoo and abba hair masque. Then I put in paul mitchell skinny serum and its back to super soft.

I woke up the other morning with a bird's nest puff on the side of my hair. The knottiness came out but it was still puffy. I took my flat iron and went over it. I've never seen something work so well. I put gloss drops on it first.
