skin wefts are a thin piece of clear material or some sort...Im not sure exactly what it is. The hair is 'injected' into the thin clear strip. SO when its against your head it resembles hair growing from the scalp.
Do you use pro-tac and/or Liquid Gold to attach the skin wefts as well?
That's the ONLY way to attach 'em.. and they look so INCREDIBLY real when attached properly!!!

Hey thinhairgirl, I would think that if you're thinning on the top, if
you can see your scalp, perhaps you want to consider a closure.
DivaVocals posted a list of places that sell them...

Thank You Ladies..What are skin wefts? Versus regular wefts sawn onto the rows of tracks previously made on ones scalp? Somebody had taked about "complements" system..Is this what it is?
Get 100 extensionists in a room and you'll get to hear about 100 different 'best' methods.
Each method has it's pros and cons. I agree with Sherrie, the Protac wefts are a good way to get volume, relatively inexpensive too. Removal is easy, just be careful.
Good luck!
I would say a weft method would give you more volume. You can use double wefts to get the volume. You could bond them with LG or use the bonding tape strips. Also for thinner areas skin wefts would be good.
The pro-tac bonding strips is about the easiest method out there, and is one of the gentler methods.
I have been wearing hair extentions for the past 10 years. I have thin hair, no volume..I also color it from brown to blonde (light)
I have had the wefts, and more recently the great lengths kind. I have heard about the locks and some other methods but not sure what is the most appropriate method for someone with thinning top (need volume on top), and least damaging method..What is the best method nowadays? Any input would be appreciated..Thanks..
