Jann Carl cut her long hair recently; she said she received inspiration for her new hairstyle from Sienna Miller; she also donated her hair to Locks of Love.  Some coverage at http://et.tv.yahoo.com/newslink/15140/ and also in US Weekly this Friday.
 
I remember when Jann first joined ET years ago because she was sporting a short haircut; she let it grow over the years and just prior to this recent haircut, it was almost BSL.  I like the new cut; she appeared on today's ET with a segment from the salon with step by step shots of cut and the finished look.  It's like a short shag; I like it a lot.
 
Can't find a picture of the new haircut but I'll keep looking.

Well, thank God she donated it for a worthy charity and didn't do it for the publicity. Why would anyone on TV want beautiful hair anyway?

She went for a Sienna Miller chop and her hair looked great after it was cut. Her hair was beautiful long and beautiful short.

I doubt Jann did it for her own publicity. ET didn't promote it. I'm sure she wanted to get the plug in for Locks of Love. Nothing wrong with that.

This should be pretty close to how long her hair was...... is her new look as short as S. Miller's?

IMO, she looks twice as old, and half as hot. Well, not twice as old, but it ages the life out of her. It's not cute, it's not polished, and it's certainlly not sexy.
Memo to Jann: If Sienna Miller was your "inspiration", it should be noted that even Sienna isn't trying to work that look anymore, and didn't for very long even when she adopted it!

IMO, she looks the same age long or short.  I do think that she looks sexier with the short cut.  The short cut brings on a more fun, exciting confidence to me.
I bet we see the cut evolve as time goes on.
It is what she wanted to do and I admire her for that.
To me a good improvement.

I'm a big fan of the change (not a shock since I love short hair) and like the few pics we have, also like the clip.  I've seen her in person just randomly in Vegas and she looks pretty good in person, I was surprised.  I hope she changes it up and styles it a few different ways, she would even look good shorter.

I like the cut but I'm with Shorthairissexy, I want to see it as it evolves a little.  I think is could be styled a little nicer.

I thought LOL only accepted donations of undyed hair, Jann's hair has gotten significantly lighter since she started. At least the short cut distracts from the huge mole on her lips.

Right you are, also her hair didn't look long enough, but for situations like this, I'm sure LOL just wants the publicity...

I don't even know who this woman is, but that terrible haircut added a good 15 years to her age!  I do like many short haircuts, but this one really detracted from her as a woman in general and a relatively young age.  I'm sure she'd look better with a different haircut, but this was not a good one for her, in my humble opinion.

Going to have to disagree with you here Bob.  I've met Jann Carl (our kids played on the same soccer team), and she is one of the most genuine people I have met.  I seriously doubt she will ditch the cut for extensions.  She may grow it out, but extensions?  She is not that vain.

I usually like short hair on women. But to me she looked better with long hair. Of course with a different short hairstyle, she might look better than with long hair. But that particullar short hairstyle I don't believe looks that good on her. She should get a different short hairstyle.
