As far as bald women being a common style in western countries, it is true
that it is not a common style. It may never be a common style in the
western countries. But that is part of the appeal of it, the fact that
it is unusual, and exotic.
To me, it doesn't matter if it is common style or not. Some women, if
they are very pretty and very feminine, look stunning, very beautiful,
with a shaved head. Others don't.
In the case of short hairstyles, or even ultra-short hairstyles, that
has become more common in western countries, including America. And
some women look fantastic, very feminine and beautiful, in those short
and ultra-short hairstyles.

Thank you Kuroneko for pointing out the double standard by some people on these boards, in regards to those who appreciate long hairstyles on women and those who appreciate short hairstyles on women.
I'm just guessing, but maybe Fatmoogas' statement has less to to with our collective awareness of each other's preferences, and more to do with the extent and frequency with which those preferences are stated here.

There is really no way to know just what hairstyles men like best on women anyway, not unless you do an objective survey of the nearly 3 billion men on earth.
Not so. Well-designed polls lead to valid and precise assessments.
Polls often get it wrong. Time and again. Case in point, politics.
Isn't that true President Kerry, (who was comfortably winning in some
of the polls).
I remember back in the 80s, when many polls had Carter defeating Reagan, and Reagan ended up winning by a large margin.
Part of the problem is how a particular poll is worded. That is why different polls get different results. And
then of course, the relatively small number of people used in
comparison to the general population. They poll 1,000 people out of 300
million and pretend it's accurate, because they claim to have been
using scientific methodology. To me, polls are irrelevant anyway, especially in regards to fashion, since everyone has their individual preferences.

Well easy enough question I think do you like hair on women or not hair? Then if you wanted to go more like what type of lenght they like then you put it with buzz, pixie, short to long front to back or back to front, shoulder, upper back, lower back, mid back,waist,butt,etc...

I can see why there would be if it was a poilitial poll but hair poll who would want to mess with the numbers. LOL.

Mike,
Some people are more biased about hairstyles than they are politics.
Just read some of the stuff on this website! Haha!
I suppose I should include myself in that statement.
Actually I believe Carol had it about right. Who cares?
It is really quite trivial to debate each other about which hairstyle is the most popular.
Sometimes when something is the most popular it isn't necessarily the
best. Look at all of the junk music groups, junk food, and junk tv shows that
are popular. Hairstyles are not necessarily any different.
Just because
this or that hairstyle is popular doesn't mean all women necessarily
look good in that hairstyle.
Thankfully people have their own preferences. It would be boring if all
women wore the same length of hair. If all women had long hair, or if
all women had short hairstyles.

Ok I can agree with that. Boards like this would be dead if there was one thing long or short. I guess we have to agree to disagree.
