My girlfriend and I did our hair this weekend, we have never done extensions before, but I have worn one braid with wefts sewen in off and on for years!!! I am in love!!! and I do mean IN LOVE with Protac!!!! What a brilliant idea!!! This is the easiest and most non detectable method ever!!! IMO!!!! I can not even feel the wefts!!! I only have one row with two wefts on it (would like one more to make it perfect) I did two rows on her with one double weft and one single weft. I will post pictures but someone will have to tell me how to
I would have never been a dIYer if it wasn't for this board!!! I have been reading this board religiously for awhile book-marking all the tutorials... I have been studying and studying all the methods and you gals are incredibly knowledegeable!!! THANK YOU!!! my friend had never had extension and has very fine hair and you wouldn't believe how happy she was to finally have hair of her dreams!!! and I think that is what it's all about!!

I think Protac is good in general, but it's not for everyone. I think I am allergic to it, as around week 3 I get insane itching, regardless of the protac is dry or not. Too bad, it's so easy to apply!
I'm glad your hair came out nicely. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
Thank you soo much Sherrie!!! Sorry those pictures are so big!!! oops... anyway details are:
3 wefts 1.5 oz of hair.... I know that is not very much, but for what she wants it's perfect. bottom row has two wefts and then middle row has one weft, didn't do any coloring or cutting on this hair at all and the picture are before it has been washed and blended with her hair. I will post pictures of mine when i can get some decent ones... ok will post what I have... will send them to Sherrie....
I went from this hair which is 16" to 20" long!!! yup we seem to do that...... funny how 14" turn into 16" and then 18" and then 20" .... I only had two wefts one 18" and the other 20" and my 20" was not near as dense as the 18" I have to put another 20" to really blend mine better..... remember on mine I only have two wefts on one row and went to 20" so yes I know I need another weft to blend this and another row (it's already been ordered) I was going to cut it to the 18" mark but after it was installed I didn't have the heart to cut it!!!!... and when it comes in I'm going to have it professionally cut..... this has not been cut yet..... remember we are just first time DIYers... and I know it's not perfect yet!!! but still soooo excited!!!!
