Started with the waves thing about 7 weeks ago and I'm almost spinning on the sides and back. The top literally took TWO DAYS but i used a MEGA HARD BRUSH. In fact, at the time I didn't even have a proper brush so I used a brush that you would use to scrub the floors....lol. It was HARD as hell. Anyway, I only brushed for about 20 mins total time in a space of two days and when I went to the barber's I specifically told him to leave about a fifth of an inch of hair and only cut IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS I HAD BRUSHED. It's extremely important for your barber to cut your hair WITH THE GRAIN and not AGAINST. If he does otherwise your waves are lost.
