Hi!
I am about to start a shop selling extension tools and human hair.
I think I have decided to order tools from www.mltoupee.com. Their prices are all right and they have been quick answering e-mails and so on. Seems serious - but are they? Have anyone here ordered from them?
The hair is a bit harder.. You can of course recognize the hair tools and so on, but with the hair it's hard to "see" if it's good quality. ;-) Of course I am hoping to make a great sample order so I wont have to worry any more about that later, but the chances are (I suppose) great that I wont. I will begin selling only human hair remy wefts (hand- or machine made wefts, not skin wefts), I need a supplier who has a minimum order of like 10-20 pcs or something like that, since I cant buy very big quantities right now.. ;-)
I have been talking a lot to www.lyricalhair.com who seems to be quite small on hair wefts, but still very.. nice, or something. I like the fact that they do lace wigs etc, since they have so many different qualities of hair to match wigclients demands of mamtching hair quality etc. It makes me think theyre serious, haha. But are they, have anyone else here bought hair from them? What did you think? :-)
Have you got any other tips for good suppliers of (indian remy) human hair wefts? Which suppliers does other companies use (haha, I know that might be a bit hard to find out, but one could always try..).
if you havent had any experience using hair or testing it, no one will ( at least on this board) be intested in buying it.
in otder to sell hair, you have to test it for at least 3-6 mths- you have to wear it, install it, wash it, dry it and beat it up to see just how long it will last.
to just get into "selling hair" it will flop- if u get bad hair, it will shed, it will tangle and your name will be tarnished and it wont be worth anything. I have seen it happen to someone- the hair shed out all over.
most people on the boards who already have web stores wont give out supplier info- and really why should they.
its a learning time for all involved. get in there do tons of research and sample it all for a while before you order it, and make sure, once you get it in, you have enough to cover your orders and get it out fast, no one wants to wait for supplies.
good luck

Thank you for all the information and advice, I have been selling both
hair supplies (not hair, though) and other goods for a long period of
time, so the other things (not related to specific suppliers) I already
have some experience of (sorry, by the way, for my bad english).
Of course I will test all hair for a period before actually selling it,
but I thought I'd ask here since I found an old thread debating chinese
suppliers, not mentioning the ones I will probably buy my hair from.
You're right they wont, but perhaps someone would, so really - why shouldnt I ask? ;-)
