The hair take a while to lock... Yes it is normal for strands to pop out here and there...keep up the maintance and it should work.

Theyre only 2 days old+ so just keep at the rolling and maintaining.  They take a long time to lock in.

I got my dreads put in about two (2) days ago (my wife did it) and I was wondering a few things...
1) am i using to much wax? not enough?
2) even after rolling i have mucho frizz
3) I finger rolled (back and forth between my thumb and index finger) my roots and they seemed to get looser rather than tighter
and 4) I have strands of hair that are locked in some parts of the dread, but stick out at other parts of the dread.
Wonderinf if all this is normal or what?
