Acetone won't work? Hmm. BevMo has Everclear which is a grain alcohol. Get the smallest bottle. (Leftovers will make killer punch/recipes are online.) If you have a small dropper bottle, put it in there and apply by the droplet onto the fusion bond, crunch it with pliers until it loosens. More than a drop or two may be needed per bond.
I've used so many stuff, on some bonds the acetone would do great and the hair extensions came off, on other I still had a little piece of hair that wouldn't come off, no mater what .
I have had to cut a few strand of my own hair here and there, what a nightmare! It's ok now, and the hair I've cut is not too visible so I am lucky somehow.
There's really great product and real crap at the same time on the market, sometimes I feel like I'm playing poker and I don't always win!
We need that for pretipping hair. I wouldn't want to use it for a regular install, but I'd rather see what the pretips would turn out like. Where do you purchase this adhesive again?

So, frenchie, tell me more about this glue!! You washed everyday? used conditioner?? It didn't turn white or break down?? How long did you wear it?? Did you ever try the grain alcohol?
I have tried 2 types of fusion glues and they both turned white and fell apart on me after only a week or two. If I could get my hands on this stuff to try it I would be thrilled. I looked at the website, but as it is in french I'll have to wait for hubby to get home and see if he remembers his 8 years of french....
Edited: what did you pretip with? The mezzo glue or the loctite you mentioned in another post? Which type of loctite did you use?
I understand that you guys are interested, but remember, I haven't found yet any good pruduct to get rid of it properly!!!
Well, this keratin glue is very resistant, I have washed my hair everyday, I used "heavy" conditionner everyday, I blowdry and straighten my hair dayly as well.
The keratin doesn't get white, only when you roll the hair with the keratin for too lond, when you're installing your extensions, it can get a little white.
I have blonde fine hair so anything that shows a little bit wouldn't work!
No I haven't tried the grain alcohol, but before you ever try it, try to find the good solvent!
..And let me know, I would be interested!!!

then "extensions a chaud la suite", or something like that, 4 times, you arrive on this page and there are the clear fusion chips I have used, reference 770126 I think. The design of the website isn't that great!!

I find their website very confusing...quite messy. Sure wish I could see some better pics of their stuff. I see they have a "decolleur" and comes in a flacon (bottle) of 20ml. As far as my French goes I would say this means "glue remover". But Frenchie tried that and it didn't work, right?
Also, is it just me or are their Keratin chips really expensive?
If anyone needs some translation from that site I'll help if I can. Having lived in Belgium for most of my life I still have some French in me

Forgot to mention that 50 pieces of keratin (not the sticks) cost 7.50. In $$ that would be around 9.50$... . Is that expensive or normal? I'm pretty new at this so I don't really know... .

Well, I don't know the prices very well, but yeah, I think the keratin chips are pretty expensive. I used to cute them in half sometimes because they can be big, depends of your hair!
The "decolleur" is the glue remover, you got it, BUT it sucks!!
I am going to try a little experiment with alcohol, on these Mezzo Keratin chips, maybe this is gonna work!
I love belgium mussels& fries and their flavoured beers too
Yeah, yummie!!! Soon I'm going back there for awhile and eat all that! I'll have a nice dark beer with it...hmmmmmm... .
I hope you'll soon be free of the glue in your hair.
Maybe it's horrible to take it out, but if the glue didn't turn white and the extensions didn't slip it sounds pretty good!
Keep us informed...
