u need to put the proteint back into ur hair that was takin out during the decolorzing. Paul Mitchell has super strong reconditioning. then theres nexxus' keraphix. get it keraphix because it buts back keratin. Which is the protient u lost.

After the conditioning it has been looking abit better, it was easy to comb through and hardly any hairs came out and it felt softer, its only been deep conditioned the once so its not gonna be back to normal yet, when its dry its a little tough to brush through, feels and looks as if i have alot of hairspray on my hair. i try and not use straighteners too much and have been using a soft brush to brush it and not many hairs have come out either so it could be doing better.
only problem i seem to be having is when its wet/dampish it can sometimes feels as of its abit sticky like chewinggum but afterwards its alright.
I have bought myself the salon deep condition conditioner stuff what they use for hair treatments so im going to be using that tomorrow.
Thanks for everyones help too :) i wont be panicing about having to cut my hair short anymore now! but I still think for a top hairdressers and to charge almost 80 pound that wasnt good!

It'll get better -- just be patient. That's the important thing -- a lot of times people think they're going to get their miracle overnight. I'd give it several weeks AT LEAST.
Maybe you already have all the product you need, but I'll just give you my two-cents. Probably any kind of of "deep" conditioner will do the job. I would get a protein one and a moisturizing one. I really like Kerastase Hair Masks (which I believe is put out by L'oreal) and Joico K-Pak (not sure of spelling). These are salon products. I'm sure there are good over the counter products too. I wet a towel in hot water, ring it out, and then wrap it around my hair. Then I do my washing/shaving in the shower while it "cooks." I do this once a week.
How is it when you comb your hair out? Does the comb glide through easily?

yup you just need to find a really good deep conditioner, loreal do another range( if you do a search on ebay you will find it). I think its called loreal sp. Comes in a 200ml pot and its for really damaged/breaking hair. Id do a deep conditioning treatment every week. You could try a hot oil treatment as well. 1/2 cup olive oil, heat it up, pour it on your hair (specially at the ends) and leave it for 30 mins. Shampoo it out and condition afterwards. I agree straighteners make ure hair look fab =D fingers crossed the condition will improve with the treatments.

Find you a deep conditioner.....I use Loreal Nature's Therapy, but I'm not sure if you have it there.
Don't wash it, just wet it and apply the conditioner. Sit with a towel over your wet, conditioned hair for about an hour. Rinse it and towel dry gently. Don't comb, brush or blow dry it......see how it feels once it's dry.
Try not to panic......hugs from across the pond!

anyway, its soooo dry and it feels thin and snappy, when she was combing and drying it it was snapping out and breaking, i was really worried cus my hairs important to me and my job. anyway once straighten it was looking and feeling alot better but still its really dry and frizzy and when i do brush it, the ends are snapping abit but im due for a trim anyway as i havent had one for months.
