Hi!
I recently bought the Raquel Welcoh clip in extension pack and my stylist highlighted them to match perfectly.
I'm having a few problems with them and was hoping someone here could help. My biggest issue is that the hair seems to 'clump' together after I've been wearing them for an hour or more. It's hard to 'unclump' them w/o taking them out and brushing them and putting them back in.
I think it's a related issue but when I talk the extensions out, they're very intertwined and it's hard to separate them.
I try not to style them but let them air dry and use lots of conditioner. Are there products that people really recommend?
Overall I love the look and how much fuller my hair looks, it's just that the clumpiness makes my head look messier than I'd like. Any advice would be welcome (even if it's a warning to go with another brand next time)

I'm not sure but it could be from coloring the hair. It's not always
good to treat the hair as it's not virgin hair. You don't know what's
been done to it.

yeah the hair will have been weakened after the colouring as it is probly already over processed. have u worn extensions before? even good quality hair is not like your own hair...when i first started wearing extensions i couldnt get over the tangles... but i got used to it now... extensions will be tanglier than your own hair..in most cases anywy

Frenchie - sorry I don't know anyplace in NYC for extension products.
I conditioned the extensions overnight and they definitely look better/less clumpy. Are there products that are better than others for conditioning them?
And I'm LMAO over all of you that say to make my own extensions - that sounds sooooo complicated.

I have trouble understanding you guys with all the short cuts!!
I have bought a conditionner from Goldwell, very good.
And expensive too, like $20 the bottle!!!
Then I like the time renewal conditioners from Pantene, loove pantene!
You shouldn't be afraid of trying extensions yourself, you could find some tutorials on how to make your own clip ins, you buy your own hair, buy clips, you sew them and trim the hair and there you go!
I have never done it myself but it doesn't look so hard!
