He everyone,  Im new to this site and have been wearing the Great Lengths hair extensions for about 3 years now.  While the quality of the hair does seem to be pretty good,  Im not totally convinced that it's the "best hair" out there as I've often heard.  The shredding I get with it is unbelievable!  My bathroom floor is a total mess all the time and Im constantly cleaning up stranded pieces of hair all over the place.

The main reasons why I've stayed with the Great Lengths system is because I've been very lucky enough to have a stylist who works doing G.L extensions in the salon, but does my hair at her home on the side for a great bargain price.   I pay for the hair itself which costs $130.00 per bundle for the 24" length, which is what I use.   She then charges me only $65.00 to install them!   She orders the hair from her salon and brings the machine home to use.  (she had purchased the machine herself)   She lives in my City so she's very close by.

Ok, now here's my problem,  with all the shredding that I get I find that Im constantly having to go and see her all the time because  of this problem.  She's been doing G.L extentions for 7 years now so I know it's not her.  I honestly believe it's the hair they use and have been looking all over the web to try to find another way of doing them, mainly by myself.  After countless searches and being more confused than ever, I was lucky to find this wonderful site!!

While I've learned alot now from reading alot of the posts here Im still a bit confused on the different methods used to install the hair.  I would prefer something simple like the pre-bonded G.L system and have been checking out alot of web sites to look for hair to order.  The problem I've had with this is that  I can't seem to find the length I want, which is 24 inches with pre bonds in them?  All the lenghs I've found are either 18" 20" and very few 22"
Does anyone here know of any hair sites that I can find 24" length size hair that is already pre-bonded?  I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
Thanks!!!
Carol

GL shedding? I've never heard anyone complain of that. No offense to your stylist but I wouldn't rule her out as the cause.

I've used His and Her nail shaped pre-tips. They don't shed at all. The only thing is that the hair quality sucks so you won't get more than six weeks out of them.
