I had the same problem with my right side.If u want to get a right side use s-curl activator it will give your right side more curls which creates more waves.

I had the same problem my right side came quick my left side was causing me problems just brush is all you can do.

It takes a while for me to get my left side and now it im tryin to get my right side.. Its takin long becuz i use a soft brush....

So really....to get the correct waves all over we all need to start from the root(top center) and brush in the divid areas consitantly?
 
If you notice for my situation i'm lacking waves in the center of my head, my back and my right side.....sad i kno.
