Unless you don't just let it go gray... I see a lot of longer gray hair around these days and it looks nice!  I plan to leave mine natural when it goes gray.  Its all in what's most important to you, different haircolor, or no maintenance.

OK, for a year now I have been maintaining my previously bleached ends to match my natural blonde hair/natural growth. All this to eventually stop coloring my hair after I cut all the previously bleached stuff off. I even cut about 4 inches off and added layers to aid in the process.
 
Anyway, I noticed today that it was time to do my ends again. I also FREAKIN' noticed that my natural growth has gray hairs in it. ARRRRRGGGGHHHH! I've been doing all this maintenance so I eventually won't have to do anything anymore and NOW I'm going to have to keep doing this to cover the gray.
