Hello evreyone! I have been reading all of your posts on this site for quite a while, and I am sooooo excited to be here and might I add that my family will be thrilled that I have finally found people that I can relate to with my hair obsession:)

O-K......... I have recently bought and been wearing hair extension clips and I do love them but...... the clips are a bit hard for me to conceal because of a small head and fine thinner  hair ( I don't look like a bald alien or anything) ha. I want something more permaninent so after reading a lot of your posts and doing a lot of research and I have decided that protac is the best way to go.

My  delima is that I was first thinking of doing seamless or skin wefts because they looked like they would conceal the best, but they are soooo expensive and I'm not too sure about the color choices.(I have blond highlights and lowlights) Now after reading all of the wonderful suggestions tips and experiences that everyone here has had I am now thinking that I should do a weft. I am soo close to ordering from jetset - the Cuticle Remy Fine Straight with Slim Weft . I was wondering what you all think about these??? and how come I haven't been hearing (or reading) too much of this particular weft? The colors look great and the prices do too.

Will a weft be too thick for my "head situation" and on the other side since they are fine and slim, do you think that it will be enough because I don't want to have to put in a ton?? Any suggestions and or comments would be greatly appreciated. I am soo excited to install and I am giong nuts and need to order something soon before I loose it. ha ha

I have used the jetset handtied wefts.  They were beautiful!  Awhile back Jetset had some customer service issues.  I personally haven't any trouble with them.  HOwever, I did use the natural wave hair and after a couple weeks the ends got frizzie & tangly needing a trim.  I dolike the bodywave tho.

Hi Brakenzie!
Welcome to the forum!
I have worn hair from Jet Set and found that the hair was really nice the first two weeks and then got quite frizzy.
I would recommend you Bohyme hair instead, which is only a little  bit more expensive, check out the Ebonyline web site.
Good luck!

OMG!!! I did it, I did it!!! Thank you so much for your reply's, you are all awesomeSmile I did a search on jetset (as suggested) and decided to go for it, I also went on Sheri's site and ordered some supplies including protac. I am soooooo excited! A little nervous about the colors that I chose, they were out of the color sample rings. I didn't want to go bohyme yet especially on my first try (a little too pricy for first purchase), I hope I don't have any frizzing problems like some of you have had:(   Please let me know of any other tips and advice that anyone has I defenitely can use it. I'll keep you posted

I ordered #18 light ash brown w/ #22 champagne blond. My natural hair color is a very dark dishwater blond (yuck) but I have highlights and lowlights (completely different shade to my natural). The hair extension clips that I am wearing now are #613 palest blond w/ #12 light brown, it actually matches pretty good with my own. My concern is that the brown that I ordered will be too ashy and clash too much with my lowlights because I think that I made a mistake and should have ordered #14 since it had some golden in it, I wanted #12 but it wasn't mixed with a light blond, but all 3 of the brown's look pretty close.

What color did you decide to keep and use nursie? Did you find it to be pretty close to the color chart on the web site? One more........... Did you apply with protac? Omg, If I were to be any where else and talking to any one else about the above conversation of color shades they would think that I was crazy, I sure hope that you all don't:) ha

i dont think you're crazy, i think you are perfectly normal lol.....well, a normal who is going to have GREAT HAIR!

i originally ordered their #613, but when it arrived it was kinda buttery colored  instead of platinum....since that time i've colored my own hair darker anyway and i have in their #19 and #20 with #14 for the bottom/darkest rows..and yes, these are true to their color chart

the 14 does have golden tones to it...but blonde multitone hair is kinda funny in that i can hold all sorts of shades up to my head and they will work...when you get your hair take it out of the pack and hold it up to your head in different types of lighting, but dont untie it so that you can slip it back into its clear plastic bag (in case you decide to send it back you want it to look 'undisturbed')

i do use protac, this last install i had little rows up top installed with LG, but i hated the removal of LG, i think im sticking with my protac

Oh... Not only do I want the colors to be right because I can't wait to install, but I was also hoping to have them in and be at a bit of a comfortable place with them by Thanksgiving because I will be having lot's of very young, beautiful and very fun relatives coming up and we will all be out on the town several nights for their stay. I ordered 2nd day shipping and if the colors aren't right then the return and exchange time would take too long :( I am very glad to hear that Jet set is very good with exchanges! So heres hopin!

Glad to hear that Jet set hair is true to their color chart. Also glad to hear you say that different  shades can go with blonde multitoned hair, I am feeling much better, I've been stressing out and I've also been going back to the jet set color chart so many times that it is unreal. Now all I have to do is walk around all day with a bag of hair stuck to my head because it will take me sooooo long to figure out if the color matches enough to keep it. OK -  now you can think that I'm crazy. ha ha

I also bought LG to go with my protac, looks like I should probably just stick with the protac for now:)
