I finally did my first install!  After all the tremendous researching I've done on this board, I finally took the plunge a few days ago, and did my first install using wefts (with a little help from my honey).  I followed Sherrie's tutorial, but using LG instead of Protac.  

Thanks for the very informative and detailed tutorial Sherrie! 

I was a little worried that the top wefts would show through since the top of my hair is pretty short (3-4 inches), but it's actually okay.  Blends good enough for me.  I just have to make sure to flat iron really well, especially in the back since my hair is wavey.    

I'm liking this new hairstyle, since it's been a while since I've had long hair, but I may take them out, or maybe chop into it quite a bit.  People complimented about my hair at work today, but most said that it's "not me" and a little on the "plain" side.    
I definitely love the length, but I think I may end chopping it up a bit tonight, to give it a more "edgy" look.   We'll see, ha.
