also, color does not count because you are simply changing the
pigmentation of the hair shaft and not completely altering or changing
the entire molecular structure and basic texture of the hair.
natural means not altering the texture of the hair with chemicals.
also, a natural relaxer is an oxymoron, in my opinion. there is
no such thing as a natural relaxer. the sole purpose of a relaxer is to
change the natural texture of curly hair. once it has been relaxed, in
other words, chemically stripped and altered of its natural texture, it
is no longer natural.
Natural hair means hair that has not been chemically altered..therefore I agree with Carameldiva. Also some ppl say that even the use of color takes the natural away..making the hair treated and not natural or virgin anymore.
Natural to me means no chemicals at all to alter texture. To me you can be natural and color your hair or press it but absolutely no types of relaxers or perms.
I may press once a year and i color my hair weekly with henna.

Many people say they have natural hair, but they use a natural hair relaxer, either herbal or mineral. I have used a few of the mineral relaxers, they either worked like a watered down kiddie texturizer, or they burned as badly as lye, and damaged my hair. Just wanted others opinions on what makes hair natural.
